What is Creative Cloud All Apps/Teams?

People new to Adobe suite of applications always wonder what is creative cloud all apps?

What is creative cloud for teams? This is a collection of software for creating, designing, publishing and managing graphics, videos, websites, audio files, pictures, animated content and mobile app development from Adobe. The mode of payment is annual subscription in most of Africa for all the apps. However you still get to use the applications when offline and you get a 100GB of cloud storage of your creative work.  

Which applications are included in the Creative Cloud Suite?

The total Adobe CC applications are more than 20+. Actually more than 25 when you count the services and the mobile applications included.

Adobe CC applications are bundled in three groups based on how they are used; Photography and Design, Video and Audio Production, Web and Mobile Development.

Photography and Design

Photographs tell stories on their own. Its the most prevalent domain by creatives. As such 10 applications are dedicated to this group. 

1. Adobe Photoshop CC –  Used to Edit, composite images and can find out details of the image
2. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC – This is a less advanced version of Photoshop. It gives you capability to easily edit, organize, store and share pictures. Similarly there is Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic which has similar capabilities.
3. Adobe Illustrator CC – Used to create Vector-based graphics and illustrations. 
4. Adobe InDesign CC – You want to create killer flyers, brochures, magazine or anything which needs publishing using InDesign.
5. Adobe Dimension CC – Used to render realistic 2D or 3D images of products or any other visualization which need compositing.
6. Adobe Fuse CC – Create custom 3D characters then integrate within photoshop for further editing. 
7. Adobe Acrobe Pro CC – This is your application to create, edit (from excel, word, ppt) , password protect, send it for signature, and print PDF forms and documents.
8. Adobe InCopy CC  – It provides for designers and editors/writers to work simultaneously on one document. It is like word processor which integrates with InDesign. Think of a magazine writer and designer working together at the same time. Perfect collaboration tool.
9. Adobe Bridge CC –   This application is for management of your digital work – photos and design files in one place by easily organising the files in bookmark able folders.

Video and Audio Production

1. Adobe Premiere Pro – Professional video editing tool that supports numerous video formats including SWF format and Final Cut pro files. And you can export to Blu-ray format.  
2. Adobe After Effects – A powerful application for digital video effects and motion graphics. When you want to create mind bending effects like dodging bullets or making subjects float After Effects is the tool to use. 
3. Adobe Audition – The perfect application to record, mix, edit, combine audio for video, broadcast and film. It will give you uncompromising sound quality to your tracks. 
4. Adobe SpeedGrade – Its’ mostly used by editors, filmmakers, colorists and visual effects artists to keep consistent colouring on a project. It is a cinematic tool for color grading that delivers layer-based color correction and look design tools to ensure that digital video projects are visually consistent and aesthetically compelling.
5. Adobe Media Encoder – Ensure your movies and videos conform to industry standards. Using Adobe Media Encoder, you can export videos to video-sharing websites like YouTube and Vimeo, devices ranging from professional tape decks to DVD players, mobile phones, and high-definition TV sets.
6. Adobe Prelude – A video management program that can store various kinds of videos in different file formats and convert the videos in a default file format that can be used by any video editor. It speeds up the process of video editing by converting numerous video footage files into one format.

Web and Mobile Development

1. Adobe Dreamweaver – Powerful application to design, publish and continue managing websites. It will accommodate your coding skills of HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and others. 8. Adobe Scout – A profiler for Flash content to investigate performance issues at the level of your ActionScript 3 code. It runs on both the desktop (Flash Player) and on mobile devices (Adobe AIR). It gives you insight into the behavior of your Flash content.

1. Adobe Administration Console – You can centrally manage all the creative cloud apps and seats from the  cloud based admin console.  – https://adminconsole.adobe.com/overview . You can create, remove, update user accounts of any of the apps. Additionally assign users to apps as necessary. 
2. 100GB Storage – Free storage for file sharing and collaboration per a creative cloud seat. 
3. Adobe Fonts – Free unlimited fonts from Adobe for your designs included in the Adobe CC subscription and they are licenses for personal or commercial use.
